THE "MACY-VERSE" is a personal project based around the story of a young witch called Macy, and her friends in a modern(ish) fantasy setting. This project does not only include character sheets of the most important characters, but short episode-like comic strips, prop design and visual exploration of the world and its architecture, flora & fauna.
This is an ongoing personal endeavour that is an outlet for creative story-telling, character-building as well as a way to cultivate and further my skill levels.
DER KLEINE IGELINO
"Der kleine Igelino" is a childrens book series, written by Lisa Pongratz and distributed by Springer Verlag with the goal to educate about mental illnesses and disorders in children as well as help the dialogue between parents and their children when it comes to these often stigmatized and hard to talk about topics.
The first two installments of the bookseries are set to debut mid 2022.
The character design of "Igelino" an his many friends was developped in creative exchange between illustrator and author. The goal was to create a cute, simple and recognizable designs for the individual characters, with a traditional watercolor-illustration look.
BUBBLEGUM CYBERPUNK (WORK IN PROGRESS)
Personal project / exploration of a bubblegum pop x cyberpunk x video game aesthetic. The goal is to create unique, fun and colorful (video game) characters with a hyper-feminine and revealing look without them being over-sexualized.
